Avalon’s Product Enhancements 

We’re excited to share the most recent updates to the Avalon’s platform. As hoteliers ourselves, we understand the challenges faced by hoteliers and translate that knowledge to implement impactful product enhancements. We’re working on solving real challenges and pain points that commercial teams face to drive profitability for hotels and resorts. So, it’s exciting to announce new features to help hotels not only manage the data that exists, but also start putting personalization into action.   • A new Automated PowerPoint presentation, where you can download and share your weekly revenue strategy meetings within seconds
  • An add-on module for Competitor Rate Shopping where competitor rates can be viewed in line with internal hotel data performance
  • A new Commissions page so you can compare the net contribution across channels.

Quick Reports 

Avalon’s now offers up to 40+ different prebuilt reports – these reports offer comprehensive understanding of your entire hotel business and allow you to track metrics down to the day. Anything you might want in terms of a data intelligence is possible with Avalon. Dimensions available include Market code, Segment, Group, Channel, Number of adults/children, Booking Status, Rate code, Source, Room Type, Charge Room Type, Lead Time, Length of Stay and more. VIP Status, Membership, Company, Travel Agent, Country, or anything that comes into your mind.

Amongst them is our new Quick Reports functionality, where you can select any of the above dimensions and compare against a defined timeframe. With analysis at your fingertips – easily access and export the right data right when you need it.

Competitor Rate Shopping 

The new Competitor Rate Shopping module displays competitor rates via subscribed third-party service. We’re partnering closely with RateGain to allow hotels to show dynamic, real-time prices and changes as they occur. The new dashboards embedded in the Avalon platform help hotels optimize revenue management strategies using hotel’s internal hotel performance data against their comp set.

Not only having access to real-time competitor’s rates by room types, length of stay, but also knowledge of market positioning and much more. Taking it an extra step to ensure revenue managers make informed decisions to increase RevPAR.

Commissions 

To enable you to have a clear picture of net contributions across channels, we are happy to introduce to you our new Commissions page. Commissions can now be inputted by account and exported into excel to show you net revenue.
This report allows users to see:

  •  Net contribution by account
  • Examine the costs associated with indirect distribution channels
  • Evaluate the impact of channel shift taking into considering the net revenue.

These newly released tailored software enhancements allows you to have a comprehensive view of your everyday metrics into one simple platform, allowing you to get on with your day-to-day tasks in a more effective and efficient manner. With interactivity that displays data that provide vital insights and has a high impact that affect your hotel performance and profitability.
